28-Oct-00 --- Little Pink Houses...

Crammed around lifestones and the subway portal. Believe it, houses are the worst thing that could ever happen to AC. I was there when they were introduced to UO, and within two weeks you couldn't place the tiniest of houses within 10 minutes run of any town. Everywhere you went you were trying to find a way around/through a cluster of houses, people would put them next to each other to make a walled town. Banks? Please! Houses? Please NO!

21-Oct-00 --- De-evolution Chat

I managed to get on-line Thursday lunch to catch the second half of the Developer's Chat at the Zone. As always, you find all sorts; some questions are excellent and really assist the guys @ Turbine, many are self-obsessed drivel, whining encapsulated by run-on sentences that their chosen weapon/school should be radically improved to be rediculously imbalanced. Typically these questions were already asked in the previous Dev Chat's, doubling the futility of it all.
Filtering the questions might not be diplomatic, but at least it would raise the standard of these Chat's to a point where they're truly worth sitting through, both for us and the staff of Turbine.

12-Oct-00 --- Americans' Call?

I don't know if I'm the only one who notices this, but Asheron's Call resembles modern life in USA more with each update. This month it's Halloween. Don't get me wrong, I love the changes this month and the small things that add some fun and take some pressure away from the need to powerlevel. And Halloween has it's roots in the Pagan religions of the Middle and Dark Ages, so it's not without grounds. Also the seasons coincide with the seasons of the Northern Hemisphere, once again nothing wrong with that, but there's an undeniable relationship with the day-to-day life of the Turbine folks' lives.
Next month will it be Thanksgiving? Martin Luther King Jr Day in January?
What would make me happy? Some more original seasonal celebrations, possibly inspired from historical cultures of the dark and middle ages. Mid-winter's feast, May Day, etc.
