Last year saw the North Stars logo worn for the first time
since the early 80's, by the Senior B team in the NSW competition.
Newcastle was represented not only in the state competition
against several teams from Sydney, but in multiple exhibition
games, and in August, they competed in Australia's premier
Ice Hockey tournament, the Goodall Cup.
Boosted by last year's Senior B team's victory, the Newcastle National League team
has formed and boasts several Senior B members. A new team with part of last year's
team is forming to defend the title won last year.
This year Ken McShane will be Team Manager for the Senior B North Stars, & Fred
Stephenson & Steve Lindsay will share the coaching role.
