In their first season in the NSW league the Under 15 North Stars took out the
NSW State title against Blacktown last November, 2001. The achievement was
especially impressive as it was the first season that the greater majority of
the boys had ever played Ice Hockey. The side was coached by Garry Doré.
This year there will be a Under 17s & an Under 15s North Stars team playing
in the NSW league. All other teams in the competition are from Sydney rinks.
These include Blacktown, Canterbury & Penrith.
